are those the only 3 choices? what about mortal kombat: deadly alliance? out of those though, mario is pretty addicting and easy, metroid is just cool as fuck, and i havnt played super smash bros melee.
Metroid Prime is my fave, but I have a feeling that Zelda: The Wind Waker is gonna kick major ass. I'd import it, but I can't read kanji well, and it comes out in a month anyways.

the fist game i got was 'super smash bro melee', and damn do i hate it. i like the tony hawks. i just got 'zelda: ocarina of time' and 'master quest' today; and even though they are ports, i would say they are the best so far. i wan't to get metroid prime.
i got my cube for xmas and finished sm sunshine a little while ago. friggin awesome game. i just now started on metroid prime and its shaping up to be one of the coolest games i've ever played.
sorry to bring it back, but I gotta say that Smash would be imo the best game ever created if they added an online capability..i would jump off my roof (again) if Nintendo actually came out with the modem fast enough to release a Smash add-on while the game is still hot...just imagine. We could have a custo smash challenge 2003! I drool just thinking about it.
Metroid Prime f'in rocks, final result : 19 hours playtime, 100% items . I'm playing on Hard now trying to get a faster time. Super Smash Brothers Melee is an okay game, but it DOES get pretty monotonous after a while, RE 0 is kickass, and I like Pikmin (such a fun strategy game :-D and 007 Nightfire. Mortal Kombat DA was fun, but , totally ruined the "Mortal Kombat" legend, especially since each player only had ONE fatality and nothing else.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals is gonna be sick, and The bonus disc for Zelda : Wind Waker will be phat, I have to go pick it up in about 10 minutes. By far, GC rocks :-D
also, i can't wait till 'mafia' comes to the gamecube (end of the year). i played it on the pc, but it has some graphic issues with ati. yeah i know gcn uses an ati gpu, but hopefully gcn 'mafia' will be suited correctly for it. i think the best game is going to be 'zelda: wind waker'. but, i am loving 'zelda: ocarina of time; master quest' right now. i am having difficulties, because i want to move fast, but i forgot a lot. i still like the two tony hawk games. they are just enginious.
'resident evil' is very dramatic. it has great visuals. but i hate the controls. it seems your fight the controls more then the zombies. it is defiantly a worth while game.
It's got pretty visuals, and it looks cool, just not my type of game. I got a gamecube cause I like Nintendo's 'kiddy' games...i say you don't really need violence to make a good game. That's why I love mario sunshine so much.
