This letter may not be as professional as we hoped it would be, but at this time we are trying to concentrate on the main goal for the upcoming site of DefeatCON.com . We are assuming that you want to help us construct a site to help fight for our freedom. We want to make it clear that this site is not based upon only the United States. We want to organize a group that will help fight for freedom in every country. Though this idea is very broad, we think that this is the time to make it clear that “hackers” can do good in the world. We want to bring together every computer science user, in every ethnic group from every country, and help fight for world freedom. The Internet is a “gateway” to every identified piece of information known to mankind. Through these gateways, we can seek information and learn what is going on in the “underground”. Even in the most secured networks throughout the world, hackers have been able to break through to find the truth.
DefeatCON’s idea is simple. Let us not harm the safety of our own governments. We must be as stealth as possible and find the information to put justice to those groups that did this to the United States. The United States is busy enough gathering information above ground, but as for us (the underground), we should be able to pick the needle out of the hay stack and deliver it to world. There is nothing stopping us from delivering information to the mass media. As humans, we have the right to make our own decisions, especially in the United States. Thought the media may not be the most trustful form of communication, DefeatCON is afraid that what we find, may be tampered with and the governments may use the information in the wrong way. The future purpose of DefeatCON is to not disturb peace, the MAIN PURPOSE of this site is to bring information to the outside, to help stop hatred. We must learn from civilizations lies and faults and teach the children of the world that respect is the most important form of communication. The government s of the world cannot get upset if we want to stop hatred.

If you want immediate ftp access to the site, we’ll send you your personalized username and password. We have chosen the program Hotline or KDX to transfer via X-packets, rather than ftp. Both Hotline and KDX is available for Mac and PC. FTP is available, but we would rather push for the use of higher encrypted clients and servers for file transfers.
Why should defeatCON's purpose be the defense or aide of the US only? Why not all the free countries of the world? or are you Americans to important to worry yourselves over people in Australia, the European Nations, and the rest of em?

We're going to help him alright, make no doubt about it. And it's not about hate, it's not about revenge, it's about being accountable and responsible for your actions. As all the dots are being connected it appears more and more that Osama bin Laden is indeed responsible. It's just a shame he has but one life to forfeit after taking so many thousands.
I don't mean to be negative here and I applaud anyone that wants to put a stop to hatred in a peaceful manner, but what makes you think that a website and some peaceful people's thoughts can change other's thoughts and actions?
Trying to change yourself is difficult. Trying to change someone else is impossible (unless they welcome the change). Believe me I am a recovering drug addict and would still be using if I didn't want to change myself.
Osama Bin Laden, the Taliban and all other radicals (as far as I'm concerned) are entilted to their beliefs. What they are not entitled to is their actions on others. And Yes, maybe America and other countries are guilty of forcing our beliefs from time to time, but I honestly believe our actions occur because someone else has already forced their beliefs.
Having said all this, please do not get me wrong. What DefeatCON is trying to accomplish is noble and should be commended, but if you want any success please do not force your words and beliefs.

Very well put Buzzbomb. Hate, like love is an emotion and will no doubt be with us until the end of time. To eradicate hate would be to control the very minds, thoughts, beliefs and hopes of the entire worlds population. An impossible task. The unfortunate product of that hate is some radicals actions which in this case will result in ensuring that they never repeat it.
To be quite honest, taking out Bin Ladin probably won't do much. You're dealing with a network of terrorist cells that don't have centralized leadership. While Bin Ladin is obviously the most notorious of these terrorists, they function almost autonomously already. Knocking off the guy at the 'top' so to speak is both an illusion and fairly point less. Cutting off a hidra's head isn't going to to do you much good.
So what... if Bin Laden is dead a tidal wave will rush thru the ranks of the terrorists leaving them temporarily stunned. The only problem after Bin Ladens assassination is the problem that his followers will seek revenge. Its a big risk of bringin' Bin Laden behind Bars and a much bigger risk of killing him. What will happen after he's dead ?
