I am looking for a program that will allow me to hide all my desktop icons. Maybe i should just go back to LS :) I had a program before i reformatted called verve by 545studios but i can't seem to track down a place now to get it Any suggestions?

Heh, yeah.. that's the one drawback to doing that. When I used to use Win2k I didn't mind though, the only usefull thing to me in the desktop context menu was "properties" which I could get to just the same by going into the control panel. I know there's a million and one applications out there that will hide your desktop icons but I try not to have somewhat useless apps running all the time and taking up memory.
If you're planning to upgrade to XP though hiding the desktop icons is a built in function of the OS, a nice little feature.
you can hide your desktop icons on win98 and up really easily. there are options in windows 98 and up to hide your dekstop icons when your desktop is viewed as a web page. you can still right click on the desktop too. I don't use that any more though, cause at the moment I'm using geoshell :)
I think the program Invisible! 2001 (www.mindbeat.com) is probably the easiest way to hiding your icons. It has a "show your desktop" feature, which you can just un-check and it will hide all of your icons. Works well for me...
