Ever want to rant about something? I'm doing it now.
I lost my cell phone today. So, instead of "phone company" replacing it, I have to pay $106 for the same phone that I originally got for "free" from their "offer" when I registered.
And what the hell, you have to pay $20 extra just for a computer chip that goes into the phone, basically it's "brain".
Stupid cell phone company.
And what is with all this desktops being published that a consitently black/gray/white. Seriously, those people need to get some color on their desktop. White is blinding. How can one stand it?
I'm ranting. I'm having a bad day so far. I want my $106 back. =(

It depends what you mean by "colour", funnily enough. Bright, colourful desktops usually don't last too long, unless they employ plenty of "cool" colours, such as blues and greens, etc. White may be a rather bright colour, but its versatility is unmatched - almost anything goes well with white. Further, white is not as blinding as some brighter reds or yellows, as well as neon-like colours.
White, gray, and black desktops are just better to theme around, are more versatile, and have a higher longevity factor than other coloured desktops . . . although many would agree that as long as things match and that the coours aren't too bright, then basically anything goes.
