no offense, and I realize that you guys have to make money and everything, but all of these activex controls that try to install (like gator and such) are getting ridiculous. I just had five of them pop up at the same time.
sigh....get a pop-up blocker, get a broswer equiped with a pop-up blocker, edit your shit, get that kazaa file, do something about it, but do not whine. We have had this thread pop up a god forsaken number of times when all you have to do is spend 5 minutes of your day downloading a file and tada, all your ads are gone.

What makes me laugh as in the 'How to Advertise' link at the bottom it says: 'Our visitors are trendsetters on the cutting edge of both technology and art.'
Cutting edge of technology means that we will tend not to install Gator/GAIN etc or click the banner ads that says click here to win a prize.
Surely something more appropriate will get you more clicks.
if you use mozilla firebird you can intelligently stop all pop ups. and if you are smart you can get rid of 99% of the on page ads ( http://texturizer.net/firebird/tips.html#lay_adblocking ). the problem is, most sites don't appreciate this action, as it cuts their revenue. so some of them have tried services that force popups, but it doesn't work again if the user is smart. hope this helps anybody interested.
