i notice this a lot...you have a well-known member who has a reputation for making nice walls...then once and awhile he subs a really sucky wall, but still gets a high rating...im sure if it was a newcomer he'd get a below avg score...it's just sad when ppl see a 'big name' they automatically think it's an awesome wall.....when in fact it's really not...have some balls to tell the truth
I half agree with you on those, most are just slightly overrated, but some do seem to be just for the name.
The only one I'd point out is the Hermik one. If you don't know his style then yes it'll look simple and dull but like art there's something else behind it that you can only appreciate if you've seen the rest of his work.

Not really. If you make good work, chances are you other works will be similar and it will also be well done. Thus, receiving a high rating. You get that? Good work = high ratings.
I don't do admin ratings punk. And you'll get a 100 if your work is good. IE- not like the work you've submitted. You got that? Improvement = better ratings. So once you improve, you can talk all the crap you want okay? Bye now!
I said I half agreed with you, some of them do seem higher because of who made them but it's not worthy of going round making a fuss about. Anyway you're only talking from one point of view, other people might see things in them you're not getting. We don't all like the same stuff, and it's a good job too or the world would be dull and boring.
you are correct. but what's the fuss about? this shit is typical. shitty artists continue to pump out shitty music and movies but they still rack in the big dough. i agree. some of the examples you gave did seem a bit overrated. some were actually pretty good. anyhow, there is no point bitching. i agree with you totally, some of these top rated customizers dont deserve the scores they are getting. but what can you do besides bitch? go out and make ONE good submission and you'll have all these drones licking the toecheese in the crevices of your foot. thats how it goes here at customize, AND in culture.
Sorry man, your work is okay, I remember some of it. But I haven't seen you do anything that's much better than stuff your pointing out. Sounds like those people have made names for themselves and you're confused why you aren't a name as well. Like he said, all you need is one hella sub....just one.
So don't act like theres some huge unfairness going on, because those guys you pointed out, for every overrated one there's five other subs that will knock you out. So yeah, we're not going to pick on them for an occasional clunker, because they are consistent sources of above average work, and we like that. We like people who are good and sub often. Once you become a consistent source of good work, it'll happen to you too. Until then...Shhhhhhhh.
I'll let you in on a secret. We have meetings every 3rd Tuesday of every month to decide who our favorite customizers are. Then they make it to the secret group of customizers who we give all of our good ratings to. Its this big conspiracy thing...
All sarcasm aside, I will gaurentee you one thing... the guys who get the good ratings dont do it by bitching on the forums and criticizing the admins.
