i know, but i'd like to hack up AIM :> i've reinstalled but i lost all my menu work and dialog work.. not to mention all my icons and bitmaps :( it's just a pain in the ass to reinstall.
anyone out there to help? all i need are the hacked up WINT version 323 and 324 dialogs for AIM 5.1
dude, get aim 4.8.2790 and deadaim. that version is much easier to hack and deadaim will rid you of all the buddylist controls without fucking with dialog resources. (i couldnt get my 5.1 to not lock up, so i nabbed 4.8 and i am much happier with it.)
Gentlemen, Dialogs #323 and #324 for 5.1 have been posted to the tutorial at my site. A complete, legitimate, and most importantly, WORKING configuration. Simply copy and paste the text, change the font if you need/have/want to, compile, and it should work. If it doesn't, then I just have no clue. Mine works perfectly, AIM 5.1, hacked to all hell and back without a problem. I hope this fixes some problems for you guys though.
