One of the things about GTA VC is that since it's in the 80's, everything is much cheaper. However this doesn't help much when you're actually trying to make money. If you want to waste a lot of time and at the same time go for 100% completion in order to get money, then you can rob one (or all) of 15 stores, try the ambulance, firetruck, pizza boy, or viglante missions. There's also the rampages and unique jumps for a bit of.. action.

If you need to find anything in the city, I suggest http://www.gtawh.com it has maps of anything you can imagine, even easter eggs (anyone seen underwater cement boots guy?)

I personally am at 96% completion in the game, all i lack is 50 cab fares, the bloodring destruction derby, and the firetruck and ambulance missions.

BTW, just to brag: i've been in close competition with a guy from school over who would finish first (i had to create a new save on my PS2 version because another messed up, he just bought the PC version). though it began with finishing first, i soon blew him away (he had a 50% head start, i'm now 10% ahead), it soon became "who can pull the longest wheelie?" At the moment i'm in the lead with 3491 feet at 21 seconds. We're not sure if it can get longer as the airport runway i used is the longest straight stretch. though if one of us can figure out how to turn efficiently while doing a wheelie, we may extend it over a mile.

okay, quite enough blabbing for my first post. got a little excited about my temporary favorite game.

HELP!! Does anyone know how to go into the game and change the language settings? My menu is currently in French or does anyone know if there is a patch avaialable to change the French version to English?

afaik... the language should be set to english by default (on both retail and less-than-retail versions i've tried it's english).

try in downtown for quick cash. Mug sum peeps, espicially those running from police (good citizen bonus) but dont shoot em or knife/club em. Also there are parking meters in downtown that wen u drive over dem drop ca$h, yeh u like that one. parking meters are great things in vice city.

if it is for the computer, you should be able to change it in settings or or something. if all else fails. delete and reinstall. and i agree with mojo.

please tell me you have enough common sense to tell why the computer cant read it. well if you dont then it is probably because the cd is dirty or scratched or your CD-Rom/DVD-Rom's lense is dirty or just doesnt work anymore. the last and final theory i have is you PC is broken

i was wondering how to get the float plane off the water in the PC version, i have no clue and I am stuck there, any help would be great

umm.. you press the gas and then press the lean back button, if you still have the stock controls the it would be "w" for gas and the "downarrow" for leaning back or the "2" button on your numberpad, i cant remember
