Active Desktop Question

I'm back again to harrass (well, maybe not) the Custo boards with another active desktop question: I have two separate active desktop pages set to my background, and i was wondering if it was possible to make the background transparent? They're above a wallpaper, and I wanted the wallpaper to show through the webpages I made so that the text appeared to sit directly on the wall instead of being inside a box. Any help is always appreciated.

if the content that you have on those pages is your own content (eg, editable), you can try transparent iframes. go to http://www.webreference.com/js/tips/010209.html for more info.

Nope, you can't make the backgrounds transparent at all, even with iframes. Your best bet is to set your wallpaper as the background on each of your active desktop pages and then position your info accordingly. I once wondered this very same thing, but if you think about it, it's just like having an explorer window permanently open on your desktop.

Well the easy way out is downloading this Active Desktop v 1.2

You can edit it and get some pretty cool outcomes.

i finally fixed it according to what IAmTheProdigy suggested. http://www.pageresource.com/dhtml/csstut11.htm is the link for the info I needed to become an activedesktop whore with the backgrounds directly underneath the forms and links so they appear to sit on top of the background as opposed to being inside a box on top of the background. Plz forgive me, as I am a totally nub to HTML CSS and so forth. Thanks to everyone who helped out, and hopefully my next ss will be something decent =P
