Yocke! I'm not funny i'm lost ! I have nothing but troubles with my PC, and no fun so please is there a way to "open" this "machine" or not? :) I imagine that everybody had a "start" , i'm just trying to find mine .
havn't you ever seen one of those commercials that offer and free learning cd of any operating system, it's free, get one, but the shipping and handling is about 5 dollars. so total price 5 bucks. i don't know if thats what you need, cuz i didn't understand one word in your paragraph.
Puh. Getting started with a PC is a huge tutorial. But let me try to explain the basics of what you need to know about your Personal Computer:
The first thing is what you have. You can have a Pentium (Intel) or an (eeeeeeew) AMD system. Those two firms produce most of the Central Processing Units (CPU) for PC`s. But that isn´t that important.
Much more important is your OS (operating system). Are you running WindowsXP or another version of Windows (like Windows 2000 or Windows ME) ?
Maybe this sounds dumb now. But you already found out how to join a community.... tell me more about what you mean with "start"
Do you want to make graphics? What do you want to do with your PC?

I have this PC (Pentium 4, 2.53GHZ, XP Home Edition in greek) for 8 months now and yes i did think i learned something in this time ...now...every day it's making me belive that i do not know enough, or better, nothing for real. Smart enough to create an account here or elsewhere i may be, but looking at what all of you talk , post, i'm using this computer as an organizer or a cellphone.
