I gotta smile at this one, what better way to take the cowled one out.. the forces of the alien worlds.. Ah the Pred's and Alien's.. Big Brother's Troops watching it all. Just another way of saying.. Hey folks.. You keep killing off your own tribes,.. You need to worry about who is watching from out there. Great Concept. Good Action. Great Short Story Line, Could not Possibly make Full Length Out of it as Cowled One ain't fighting Human Mutant's ... Alien's Don't Play by Mortal Rules... So I think it was Well Done. Didn't need much story really, Alien's and Pred's don't like Human's get tired of being made fun of and wiped out by so they take care of it in numbers... Good Costuming.. Way to go Renegade Effects..
Hey everyone i wanted to say that i loved the movie ,But only when it ended !!.Are some people insane!! they are saying that this is "The best batman movie ever made"?!!.That was the worst anything evermade let alone a batman movie .Wtf ?! was that .I loved to laugh at how laughably horrible that was.What is this director thinking!! batman mixes alien vs preditor... oh oh heres a good idea for your next project, spiderman vs a bad impression of vincent price as egg head ,Godzilla,and darth vader.And make sure not to explain why they even exist in the same universe.*cough* NO NARRATIVE!*end cough*.I really love how you spent so much time on the alien and preditor costumes but fell short on the budget when it came to "BATMAN" and instead gave him a cheesy 60's skin tight cotten jumpsuit adam west make over.Not that adam west doesn't kick ass, he is very much the man !.The production value for this movie is very good i will say that .But if thats all that films required to be genious then john woo would have won a best director oscar ,or romeo must die would have won best picture. and im glad i don't live in a world where that exists .The best batman movie besides classic batman is tim burtons batman .Heres a tip make an original movie !
wow, 1.21jigowatts. You completely missed the point. The whole idea was to take Batman straight from the comics and transfer it to film. No stupid plastic-nipple-costume reinterpretation. The core of the film is the fact that Batman is in tights because Batman in the comics is in tights. Take a look at the comic now (do yourself a favor and make it the Jim-Lee-penciled "Hush" series) and you'll see that the costume in the film is actually exactly the same as the one in the comic. And then note how kick-ass Jim Lee's Batman is.
BTW, Batman and Predator have actually been in comics together. If you want an explanation about why, look it up. I'm not sure if Aliens have ever appeared in Batman, but then again, Aliens and Predator is a pretty common combination.
In short, I feel that this was a movie about Batman by a Batman comic fan targeted at Batman comic fans as an attempt to transfer the coolness of Batman on paper directly to live acting. I, being a much bigger fan of the Batman comic than the movie franchise, think that he succeeded admirably. That's probably why people call it the best Batman movie ever -- because it's the most loyal to the comics (while still remaining cool). Meh, I guess you have you're own opinion. Mine is that this was an excellent rendition of Batman. I concede that it lacked an actual story, but then again, it was 8 mins long. Who cares. 8^)
