Oh come on, you all know you want to hear it. Heres some memories of us, a little bit of laughter, and some stories about us. Remember, this is a little exaggeratted and all in good fun. =)
So I'm sitting in the IRC channel and reminiscing with Fenris and Axii the old days of Custo and I thought I would share my stories. =P
Remember the days of Custo. The veterens of the site remember. Lets start off with days when I joined as Admin (mostly because I don't remember those years before that).
Remember the love for Pod, Miriku, and AdamTT. Oh boy do I miss them. Oh good times good times. I remember the days when the review queue would hit 100 or 200 sometimes. We all dreaded to do it, and usually pushed it aside to one of the others to be the "SUCKER!" and do it. Usually the one who finally did it wound up sitting for 2-5 hours just reviewing constantly. Oh the fun.
Usually after that happened, the admin who got suckered into it got pissed at all the admins. When this happened, we all got e-mails forwarded to each other with words like "YOU ASSHOLES. I JUST HAD TO RATE 200+ SUBMISSIONS. DON'T YOU PEOPLE DO ANYTHING! I HATE YOU ALL!"
But, within 5 minutes another e-mail would arrive with something along the lines of "Aww, I sowwey. I can't stay mad at you guys. You my boyz! Its ok that I did it. I love you guys". Yea, that guy became the sucker over and over again. Sometimes we'd get e-mails followed up with "Hey, I'm sorry. I suck cock for 5 dolla." Yea, that was a turn on.
We rarely saw the owners. Lampy was busy, Bling Bling (Wraybling) was always the middle man between him and his bro, and funny face man (Revird) was in hibernation.
So, along came Darksheer. Oh the fun just started (DS came along not long after me). And like merk pointed out to me, people say DS and freaked out like "WHO THE FUCK IS THIS GUY!?!?!?!"
Well, little be known ... DS came around, and Custo had its new bitch. *Wink*
Usually we'd be known to log on and look at the queue with the following response: "Wow, the queue is kinda large. Hmpf, well, that sucks. Hm, I'll let DS take care of that." Sadly, most every damn thought that same thing. Poor DS. So, we all wound up browsing a bit, look at all the new subs, not rating them, and logging off. DS = Class A Custo Bitch. Yea, he got stuck. But he "said" he loved it. Ha, yea, pfft, as if. He was secretly planning other schemes whilst we were all running away.
But as merk pointed out to me again, DS actually cared about Custo (hey, I did too. ass.) Yea, we made it hell for DS. (DS I love you hunny buns)
So, Miriku just like...dissappeared. They say he "left", but I insist that Lampy, Revird and Bling just locked him up in the basement somewhere singing to old tunes of Barbara Striesand and trying to improve his smart ass-ness. Although we all knew he was one, it was awesome to have around most of the time.
So, AdamTT was kinda phasing out. Pod was just about long gone. Adam and Miriku would both pop in every so often, but DS and I always wondered one thing. Where the hell were Lampy and Revird!?
See, Revird is one of those programmers / owners that would pop his silly head in once in every 6 months, and usually program some 1 line of code that was useless to us and the users. I mean, you used to be able to roll your mouse over on the Featured "minimize" button and your mouse would turn to a question mark. When asked why it did that, his response usually was "Oh, I was just bored". Yea, it stayed there for like 2 years. Sadly, that little feature is gone. =(
Oh the days when Revird would program ... and add these features....and then dissappear for 6 more months ... and Custo would still look the same ..... forever ............and ............yea....your lookin' at it still. =) (I love you sweetie). Rumor has it Revird now programs with his toes because of an "machine accident". I just happen to think they cut his arms off because they weren't doing him any good.
Lampy was Lampy. He was the person we would send an e-mail and bitch too. Bling bling was the same way too. "I hate this user. Do something". Yea, that was pointless. My first reply from Lampy was "Who the fuck are you?!" "Uh, I've been an admin for 6 months now" "oh, cool. right on. cheers."
But most replys after that were like "Um. And you want me to do what?" "Nothing, just listen to me bitch and whine and cry like a 5 year old because some newbie user is picking my butt and it hurts". Well, we don't do that anymore ... at least, not that I know of (cause if we do, i wanna join in).
Sometimes I find it a crude joke that Revird and Lampy would program in more pointless code ... like the ticker on the bottom of the page that tells you how SLOW Custo loaded up on our pieces of shit 56K modems. *cough* asshole *cough*. I could hear the laughters as their on highspeed ... and I still crawl.

So anyways, back to the story. After all this, we were running short handed. DS and I recruited Colossus72. Oh god that was a mistake. He latched onto my leg like a baby with a passafier (see Maggie Simpson). I think C72 just liked me because I always gave him good ratings for his colorful (and sometimes fruity) vector wallpapers. He even dedicated one to us. WE DIDN'T HAVE MAN LOVE AFTER THAT (Ok, so maybe I just chose to forget about it...WAIT..WHAT AM I SAYING).
So, the "Custo Bitch" title was then handed down to C72. This was DS's time to shine!
Oh, and I can't forget the days when we would all pick on a certain CEO of a "certain company". Usually it was playful, but "some people" took it too seriously (Hey DS, don't look at me. Don't hate the playa, hate the game). =P
Anyway, C72 latched on and fell in love with me. After rating all his subs awesome-ly, next thing I know we are in bed together. But, long story short, he was whipped. His g/f got mad, but she eventually got over it.
Past that was the rest of the crew. Oddfox, Max(imillian) (Who I hated, mostly because he was making more money than me and taking over the AOL world, which I hate too). Others came along too, and went ... and so did I.
My life took a turn 180 degrees for the worse, and I wound up leaving Custo and having to deal with that. Shit happens, what can ya say.
So, after months of haitus, I come back and log onto Custo and was like "WTF? MY ADMIN BOX IS GONE!" So I'm e-mailing Revird like "WTF..MY ADMIN BOX IS GONE" and he is like "Shove it loser. Make mad love to me" (I'm getting tired and my fingers are hurting, its starting to get wierd).
But apparently I wasn't an admin anymore. So, I pulled out the whip again, and showed them who's boss. What changed? A LOT.
DS got his evil scheme. He took over the world (well, ok, maybe 0.000000000000000000001% of it, being this site) and asked me to come back as admin.
And shazzaam, I am back, veteren users rejoice, and newbies are like "WHO THE FUCK IS THIS GUY!?!?!?"
Moreover, I look at all these admins posting news, reviews, and such and are like "WHO THE HELL ARE THESE PEOPLE?!?!?!?!?! I WANT A COOKIE" Yea, I never got one. =(
Gear-by (like Herbie, the incredible Bug car thingy), Arz (Ass (I know, its mean, but he like it)), Miiro (Person who I still don't know that does..."stuff"), Boogie booger (eww, its bright green), FrostedFlamer (haha, flamer), Wynton (who is just insane), and so many more I don't remember (actually, I probably only forgot like 1 or 2, but I'm running out of information).
Maximillian became "cool" and changed his name to Max, Colossus72 wanted to be with the "in" crowd, so he went to C72.
We all drive our Custo cars ... but for some reason we can never decide on what kind of car we actually have and IS the Custo Car. 1 admin states he has a BMW, another says Mercedes and I think I heard Lamborghini and Ferrari in there somewhere too.
I am running out of ideas now and can't remember much more. Any admins care to add their memories and stories of Custo? (Shutup you newbie Admins (Just kidding, I love all of you)).
All and all we are one happy family ... with the occasional poke...and fight...maybe a kung fu match or three...sometimes I break my ribs ... Max stabs C72 ... C72 likes guns ... and DS is still our bitch in a dress.
