i am asking if people have this info to change things if aim 4.8

i checked there, thats where i got the info from but they only have

AIM 4.8.2790 --> offset for the yellow hi-lite color is at 0x0000F444
AIM 4.8.2790 --> Buddy name text color: color they use (the black) is 01 01 01, find SECOND instance of that value in the BUDDYUI.OCM file, change it.

but they dont have the background color, that is more of what i am intrested in. does anyone know it? thatnx in advanced

you just have to figure out what color it is youre wanting to change and search through the hex using trial and error. it takes a long time.

if no one in either of the two places can help you, then your best bet would be to do what eremite said. go grab a hex editor (xvi32 is a nice freeware app that gets the job done), open up buddyui.ocm, and prepare yourself for an arseload of trial-and-error testing. good luck.
