a little help, please

if you used the litestep installer, check your personal.rc config file and make sure LSUseSystemDDE is not commented out.

im pretty sure that you need a plugin for winamp3 so that it can handle the commands sent to it from whichever ls module youre using to control winamp.

i looked through personal.rc, there was no LSUseSystemDDE ?

also, i downloaded the plugin from winamp.com...and it just puts controls for winamp in the taskbar, instead of making the buttons work

it can go anywhere in the file. to keep things simple, you can put it in its own line.

thats what it looks like when its commented out. a brief rundown on commented lines:

any line with a semicolon (;) in front of it will be ignored. if you put a semicolon in the middle of the line, then everything after it will be ignored.

with that in mind, your LSSystemUseDDE should look like this:

most of the themes DO NOT HAVE buttons for Winamp3. most are configured for Winamp2. for controlling Winamp3 you need dynamp.dll or gandharva.dll.
