I know this is possible, but I just can't figure out how I did it before, I'm using WA2 and all I want is a shortcut on my dock to load winamp and radomly play any music from a large file.
Any help would be appreciated.

Actually, yes. I have to have them perfect as well. Thats just the way I am. Nothing drives me nuts more than the stupid people on Kazaa who name their songs wrong and make u think you're downloading something your not.
Erm, yes, mine have to be perfect, when I download something it goes into a holding folder for the ID3 tags to be checked and sorted, I need capital letters throughout.
Set winamp to random play. Make a shortcut to winamp. In the shortcut properties, add the following to the end of the command in the "Target" box( I'll use my directory as an example):
"F:\\mp3s\\new"
there is a space at the front of that, the quotes are necessary, and do not put the backslash after the end folder, just change the path name to whatever the full path is on your system _________________________________ New York, New York I won't go back Indelible reminder of the steel I lack I gave you seven years What did you give me back? Nothing more, nothing less, runnin up to about 25,000 mp3s right now, 3/4 of them hand picked from me over the years, I found a kickass little program that let me autoreplace all double dashes, spaces, or any other junk in every file automatically with that format Artist - Song.mp3
saved me hours :p
