Well, I been going out with this chick for like... 1 1/2 months now, and I think she's cheating on me; lol
She is kinda slutty, has her moments, jokes alot about sex and shit, but... Its been almost 2 months.. I havent met any of her freinds, she won't let her msn or profile say anything that could imply that we are going out, and well, she won't let me go to her house... I have seen her parents once... as freinds during school, they were nice, and her sister had a bf over, and she is younger, so... she IS allowed to have a boy freind and stuff....
Ya think thats good enough evidence to like.. ask her... or something? I dunno... kinda wondering... any of you guys know anything about this?

Just act moody and start drinking a lot. Randomly rip your t-shirt off and fall to your knees sobbing in front of her. Make vague accusations. Call her every 5 minutes. With any luck you'll be able to prolong your anguish for years, maybe even ruin your life.
confront her about it and/or research heavily into her past (imo you should have done the latter in the first place :/ ). i know that one of the most important elements in a relationship is trust, but she's basically imo denying to everyone else she knows what should be an important part of her life. don't confront her on if she's cheating on you, but why she's doing what she's doing (denial and all). the problem could be alot more complex than it appears.

were i you, depending on how old you are...try to get the most out of the relationship. wink wink. or do the mature stuff other people are talking about. at this point in your life it doesn't matter what you do.

Yeah, that is pretty suspicious. Except for the thing about MSN and profiles. I hate people who put their personal lives in there, like the name of the stranger they're dating is going to effect whether or not I want to chat with them. I don't think you can blame her for that part.
If you do anything, do it to her face. As in, confront her, drop hints, anything you choose. Don't snoop around into her past, or invite yourself over, or suddenly become best friends with all her best friends. If you do that, any even vaguely intelligent or self respecting girl is going to break up with you. Especially if she is NOT cheating on you. I say ask her, but try not to make it an angry accusation type thing. Those never help, for exactly the same reason as going behind her back.
That sounds totally f'd up. You definately should confront her. If its only been 1 1/2 months, isnt that long to where a break up is gonna be a disaster... but its pretty long for never going to her house and all that other stuff...
just kidding! But seriously, if you dump her first you'll come off looking way cooler. She's being shady and slutty, why would you keep her around? You gotta establish a standard man, get rid of her.
It sounds to me like there is an even bigger problem going on here: you don't have much of a relationship. If she won't let you come to her house, won't go places with you, and wants to keep the relationship a secret, there isn't a whole lot too your relationship, is there?
Confront her if you want, but it sounds to me like it's probably a lost cause as it is.
oh...and I agree with KSG about the MSN / AIM profile thing.....it's just stupid.

Like colossus said, gut feelings are often true. It's happened to me before, and I hated it. I dated two girls that I had that feeling with, and both of them were worthless cheating whores.
However, it doesn't sound like she's even comfortable with being in a relationship. If she's embarassed to be with you - which it somewhat sounds like - she needs to get canned and quickly.

when i was 34 i married a 23yr old (but thats over now). but now that im turning 40, im involved with a 24yr old (and shes hot so dont even go there). my point is is that you CAN get the same "stuff when youre older", but not if you treat women like "sluts and whores" you'll find that out as you grow up. :-)

I for one hope that LTD wasn't directing that at Fenris. It is a somewhat cryptic statement, and he at least deserves a chance to defend himself. I'm not entirely sure what LTD meant - or what colossus meant - but I get a general idea from both.
There's no need to lock a thread when somebody might have a conflict. That's just irritating. Most of us here are adults, and we can settle our problems like civilized people. If we can't, then we probably shouldn't be posting anything in the first place.
Reading that comment a few times, I dont' see it as a shot at Fenris (though I think the wording could have been better).
I think he was referring to all people in general when he said "take a look at yourself in the mirror and work on yourself." There are certainly a lot of people (everyone) who needs to do that. Often we spend a lot of time worrying about what other people do but we don't consider our own actions.
I doubt it was a shot so much as a suggestion for everyone stemming from his response to that comment.
Moreover, I am not going to lock a thread just because there is some tension. No one is flying off the handle or being abusive at this point; which would be the only reason to lock a thread. Gotta let people be open to arguing a bit...it's when they get too personal that things here have to come to an end.
I'm not so sure. There are some obvious scenarios:
1) He was taking a shot at Fenris. I'm not sure why, or really what he meant or was trying to accomplish. I don't see why he would do this, as Fenris only made one post here that made complete sense to me.
2) He wasn't taking a personal shot at Fenris, but suggesting that women aren't completely innocent and should also consider their own faults. (I'm certainly not suggesting women are responsible when men cheat.)
3) Like ds said, he was suggesting that we should all look to ourselves before pointing fingers elsewhere. That's sound advice that anybody can use.
I won't eliminate the possibility that he was taking a shot, but I don't think it's that clear. I also have no knowledge of LTD or his past, so I have no presuppositions about his personality or intentions. Whatever the case is, I don't think anything is too obvious, and he does at least deserve a chance to defend himself.
