today i finally got the g unit beg for mercy cd. but, when i put it in my cd drive, i cant play any music! a desksite thing pops up, but theres no music in the CD. it works fine in my stereo and all, but not on my computer. i tried it on my dvd drive and my cd-rw drive, both have the same result. does anyone know why?
thats been around quite a while, where the music on-disk isnt represented by .cda files. use a program that doesnt require opening the files up via the cd directory like WMP (i assume you've been trying to winamp). also you can still rip them to your HDD with exact audio copy or whatever, make mp3s out of them, and just listen off your hard drive. thats what i do.
Anyway, : caesar1996 : Possibly; what that does is turn off the autostart (this actualy work to stop startup apps, and speed up rebooting too). That may do the trick, but never had a CD that did this.
Another thing that couldbe done is that if you rip the cd to wavs, you could re-burn the cd without the protection. This is where things get legaly fuzzy, so I'm stopping here. ^.^
