how do u make a skin?

Im not familiar with windows media player, usually you just edit some config files and some graphic files. Search google.com for "HOw to make a windows media player skin" and you should get a good, thorough guide.

WMP skinning is a little more complex than skinning other programs. AFAIK there's some JavaScript involved. (Skinners usually shun the idea of scripting in skinning)

scripting in a skin is most definatly not a bad thing. a good example of scripting done right is WA3 skins and WA5 Modern skins.

wmp skins really aren't that complex, more of a pain in the ass than anything else, though prolly not the best choice for a beginer.
