Would anybody be willing to help me evaluate my VS? It's not yet done, so I could either post it as is or wait a short while until it is. <br /> I understand that a VS is much more complicated to give feedback on than a Winamp skin or a wallpaper. I have nothing to give in return, other than my gratitude. If anybody is willing, let me know. I don't want to be one of the people who submits an incomplete skin just for feedback.

OK, so I finally got around to working on it some more. All I have left to do is the Explorer bar. Other than that, it's basically complete. Before I post it, I'd like to get some feedback.
As you can see I made it mostly to match my wallpaper and WA2 skin. I figure it should be pretty easy to recolor, as it's not really flashy and it could go with a lot of stuff.
Any ideas for other colors? I have so far a light silver-type scheme (think almost as light as you can reasonably get with white text) and a dark charcoal-type scheme. So essentially I have three color schemes that are almost devoid of color.
Speaking of which, I think I just discovered a method of changing it. I just have to work out some transparency issues in the other colors, fix the titlebar size (which has been bugging me since the beginning), and then I'll be done. I see no point to hacking the shellstyle.dll.
Imrik: I mean fix transparency in some of the areas that use it, like TrayChevron. I had to play around with it to achieve the transparency I wanted the first time around, but now I have to do it again for the other colors.
Updating the style now, and here's what I've got. I changed the start button, the start menu, and the taskbar buttons. They are now more button-like, and don't look quite as 2-dimensional. I kept the titlebar sizes down pretty much - the non-maximized ones are good, and the maximized one required a little trickery but they should match.
Well the start button definetly looks better than before, maybe you should try writing "start" on it, perhaps it would look even better (i dunno, it's just a thought.)

Another question on StyleXP - hopefully somebody can answer it. I just changed the buttons on my style (as you can see from the screenshots on this thread) and my new group buttons do not match the new ones. That is, the single-pixel bevel style of the old one shows up instead of the new one with more depth. What I mean by group button is the button that appears when you open many windows of the same thing, like 10 instances of Notepad or IE. Then you get a number and an arrow along with the program's name and icon. Does anybody know the name of this file? I apparently got it right the first time, but now I can't find it.
