over half the songs I have downloaded do that, you just have to keep downloading and find a song that doesnt do it. it sucks i know, but thats just the way it is with kazaa now.
thanks ppl - i guested that but it hasn't stopped me yet and there's a load of websites that have good quailty mp3's that don't screw up - mp3sfinder.com and mp3shits.com an mojomonkee be nice pls
mojo is right.. the industries have gotten wise to haxors using kazaa. they have hired sell-out haxx0ors to flood the networks with bad songs, movies, and applications. use IRC.
I find that if you search and use "More options" there is a drop down for quality. Change that to "At least 160kbps" and most of the time you get the actual song. You get less downloads of course but you still have a better chance of getting the actual song without the noise and without looped versions.

Yes, Soulseek DOES rock, (that is, if you can ever find the song you want NOT queued *argh*) but other than that, practically no song is ever copyrighted like it is on Kazaa nowadays (on Soulseek that is). But if you insist on using Kazaa, I find that more often than not, the one return of the song that has little or NO multiple sources, is often a perfect mp3 (no scratching, reversing, etc.) though it may take you much longer to get this one mp3, especially if the user your downloading from has a crap connection, it might be worth it if you want the song bad enough
