Is there a way to change all your system Icons easily? I'm running Windows 2000, and I can't change any of the system icons (e.g C-Drive, Folder icon, default, etc...). Any help?

well there are a few, i think iphile(free) or iconpackager(not free) or you could use reshacker or go to wint's site http://wint.virtualplastic.net/ or virtualplastic's site http://www.virtualplastic.net/#

MicroAngelo is very easy, after installing you could right-click almost every icon and just change it. It's not free, but you could try the trial version -> http://www.microangelo.us

I've tried all of those icon programs. The best way to do it is get a reshacker and hack your shell32.dll file. You can find an article at hardwaregeeks.com.

iPhile http://scrow.virtualplastic.net is my favourite. Shell32.dll is probably the best way to go, although i'm not that comfortable with reshacker, so i dont.

You're not using explorer.exe as a shell, are you?

If you're not then your only option is to reshack shell32.dll.
