do a google for "restoring the show desktop button" and they'll tell you how to re-create the button, in which you'll find where the file is stored and such, then just link an object right to it.

why not copy the *.lnk file from your quicklaunch and just use that in OD?

I was just covering the possiblity that he may not have the show desktop button available anymore, but if he does, yes Mojo's way will obviously work.

Show Desktop is in DOcuments and Settings\user\application data\Microsoft\internet explorer\quicklaunch.

Creating an objectdock shortcut either directly to SHow Desktop.scf or to a lnk of it doesn't work tho.
