so its got a 2JZ-GE or 2JZ-GTE, which is a Toyota engine, so that leaves Toyota, Lexus and Scoin as options. Scion is excluded since neither of there two car models are able to house a inline 6, that leaves Toyota and Lexus, to my knowledge Toyota doesnt have a car withthe 2JZ-GE or the 2JZ-GTE(at least any tuner cars that i know about), so that leaves Lexus. The Lexus SC300 and IS300 are the only cars to my knowledge and IS300 doesnt have SC in it so...
2JSC = 2JZ-GE or 2JZ-GTE + SC300

I have a 1993 Lexus SC300(Toyota Soarer is Japanese modle) with a 2JZ-GE motor. This summer I am going to be blowing a load of cahs on getting a turbo kit turning the motor into a 2JZ-GTE.
A RaCeR, Toyota had the 4th generation Supra with a 2JZ motor.
And yes I havn't graduated from high school yet, I paid half for the car and the rest was paid for by my parents. $6000 in all. By the time I get out of college I'm hopping to a have a real mean sleeper.

i must have misstyped, i meant to say other than the fourth gen Supra, they didnt use the engine in any other car to my knowledge, except for the Lexus IS300 and SC300. now the IS300 is the only one in Lexus since the put the 430 V8 in the SCs, and from what i heard they are putting the 430 in the ISs also. As for owning a SC300, they arent that expensive now(since it is one of the more underground sleepers out there), i almost got one a while back, but decided to save a few grand and get my POS Cavalier.
@strkture - i would like to know how you got it, since skylines are one of the most expensive japanese cars to get in america. did you import it through airforce or navy or something? (saw it in your preofile)

RaCeR - The IS430 was just a concept that Toyota took to Rod Millen(Famous racer car driver). The IS300 is currently the only car that has the 2JZ motor. And you should have gotten the SC300, it is such a fun car to drive. Plus with some bigger breaks, you can have a little more fun on an autocross track.
sticboy - yes it is a ricerocket, but it is not going to be a Fast & Furious car, its gonna be done the right way. Nothing will be added that isn't needed(ie neon, kick ass sound system, body kit, shopping cart spoiler ect.)
If you wanna know what the R35 looks like - find a pic of the Infinity G35, same car, as well as the 350Z. 350Z stands for 3.5L and G35 is 3.5L as well. Only diff between the two are exterior stylings and minor aspects with the performance/engine

It's always difficult to find a good foreign, esp. European, mechanic. I know in Chicago you can find 'em. The guy I used to take my Volvo to specialized in Rolls Royce, Bentleys and such, but had a soft spot for die hard Volvo owners like myself. He was awesome. It shouldn't be too hard to find a mechanic to fix your Alfa, expect to get hit HARD for parts though.

if you are asking where you can get someone to work on it, good luck. me and my dad sent my first car, an '83 Benz 300 SD (Turbo Diesel) to 2-3 different people for over 4 years, and the only work that was done on was shit pulled off of it, scrathes and some pot here and there. we finally took it back and replaced the transmittion ourselves. with a hayne's book on the car, and a little automotive knowledge we got it running in about half a year. if you do the work yourself, you will have a better relationship with your car.
if your asking where to get one; ebay.com, google.com, adesa.com(auction site that has an auction close to where i live). personally, it would probably easier buy one with a little damage and fix her up, you tend to respect your car more if you do that

The reason I stated the specific Alfa I needed work on was because all auto shops that specialize in foreign cars that I've been to aren't able to work on the unique build of the Alfa GTV6. They say it can be done, but will take a lot of time, money, and parts ordered from Italy. Something I don't want to do.
However, there was a shop in Florida that I used to take my Alfa to. This shop specialized in Aflas, more specifically the GTV6 series. Last I went, the shop was just closing down.
This is why I ask if you know a place that could take care of a car like that. Wherever in the states is fine by me. Just another risky road trip. Mind you, I live in Michigan, and if were willing to drive to Florida to get this car fixed (and a little R&R, of course) than I'm willing to drive just about anywhere.
The problem isn't too serious to the point where the car can't be driven, it's just one of those things where I need to constantly replace parts to keep the car in working order.
