While I feel it was wrong for what he did; lets not forget if he didn't like the design he wouldn't have copied it. Also, unless I'm wrong he has been contributing to the community and hasn't been a troll. And to add to those statements, no offense to him, he is 15 and shouldn't be given too much flack for his actions.
are you crazy! 15 yrs old enough to know better. who cares if he likes it. it's not his. someone put alot of work and effort into making that. who the hell is he to claim it as his own. I feel no sympathy for people like that. who cares if he contributed to this community, he stole from this community. in my opinion he shouldn't be welcomed here.
Compo...yes...admiring a design is one thing...plagiarizing it entirely another...;) Unfortunately it 'could' just as easily been a site for Kiddie-Porn-R-Us with Custo's signature graphics....and that would have been even more unarguably a no-no.
Property theft is a crime whether wittingly or unwittingly done.
A reasonable argument is that if you are 'mature' enough to have a public 'net' presence you are also [or should be] responsible enough not to violate an entity's copyrights.

amazing how people can't be so shameless... here in my country we say a guy like this one "has no blood in his face". and I think 15 is old enough to be aware that you're ripping something, unless you are very stupid or clueless.
I did not mean that by the fact he was 15 that he wasn't old enough to know right from wrong or what he did he shouldn't be punished(i.e. banned, or temporarily banned). What I meant was that I know that on the net people can be pretty violent and/or unforgiving with bad and threatning statements. I just wanted people to remember that he is 15 and not to let things to get out of hand.
Yes, he is 15. Don't think I wasn't upset because the a certain boy on the news in my area can't be punished for murdering another because was only 12.
I also don't like people who steal either.
I think one of the reasons I stood in his defense is because I didn't want things to get too out of hand. I'm sorry if my point came accross wrong, I think that many of the staff here know that I have be been a long time member here and have tried to my best not to be a jerk or a troll.
