i always rate around 20 a day at home , but my computer is in heavy fuckups. Im rating at school though, and ive rated around 40-50 submissions today. Pod and matrix rate a lot too, so does angelfmercy. Miriku is the only one complaining about it though :)

It's getting better! Everyday I think. Rome wasn't built in a day. A few things to make it all better, I think: 1. A weeding out of boobs (gang up on 'em) 2. Consistency in admin ratings, for example Adam is pretty generous w/ higher ratings, while miriku can be more critical. (neither approach is wrong) A little homogeneity would go a long way. 3. A limit to uploads so the admins aren't always playing catch up. Do you think miriku is going to give a good rating after rating 50 papers in two hours, half of which were submitted by the same 5 people who upload mediocre stuff every single day? I think one submission per week should be the rule, besides, if you're doing more than one peice a week you're probably a crap factory anyways. You're only clogging the board and people are missing your stuff anyway do to the crazy volume and the speed at which it disappears off the latest submissions page. Just think kids. These posts are masterpieces of comic timing.
Strange, I don't know what's goin on here. IMHO, the community was in a much more positive state when there was just a message board here. I still remember how helpful everyone was during the logo contest. there were very few "it sucks" comments, and very few "I did this in 5 minutes" submissions. (though I realise most of them probably were 5 minute jobs, mine was). Everyone seems to be taking a "Custo sucks now" attitude. Well, it's the people that make the site. Admins can only do so much, but it really comes down to the attitude of the community as a whole. If 90% of the people think Custo sucks now, for whatever reason, threads like this will probably drag down the other 10% that still think its a great site. I'll be the first to admit that Custo has it's problems. What everyone is forgetting is that, while the site might still have all the old submissions, it is a new site completely, under new ownership, being run by a (mostly) new staff, and IMO, Custo is still in beta. While the site has very few (none?) bugs, there are a ton of features that haven't been added, and even more, as far as I know, there are no official "policies" for the site, so all of the admins are having to act on their own judgement. AdamTT: Oh. I'm supposed to rate stuff? lol... ok, I guess I could start sometime...

we've rated down all the newer submissions now. The only mods left now are around 380 old wps from the cm era. Please get them done if you have the time. Nuke em, rate em, whatever

Damn that change music.... slumlords that initialized custo's plummet from being one of the top skinning sites to where we find ourselves today. but actually, today is better than when that f@#$king GLLEN thing was rampant.
WOW Everyone seems to have forgotten how bad it was this past summer when almost ALL the skinsites were down. Am I missing something here? A few dedicated people in the community worked hard getting [Custo] back online. Now it seems like everyone is whining about it. Personally, I'm happy to see so many people, lamers and l33t alike posting and contributing. But what the h3ll do I know? deadzombie "...use my body to keep you alive..."
