It seems that living in florida is not a good thing, like we are being punished for some reason.. In less than a months time we've been hit by 2 hurricanes and we are faced with a third one named IVAN due to arrive on monday.
ooo IVAN that sounds particularly grim...like uncle ivan who lived in the basement until you were twelve and who would tap on the pipes to keep you awake....

Yes, very true Max. Someone once told me that when we have a dry summer (like it was during May and June), we tend to get wicked weather later on. Well, that aside, NOAA is investigating why Florida has become such a hurricane magnet...
Ivan just narrowly missed my island (Barbados), it knocked off a couple roofs and trees... but damn Florida can't afford to get hit a third time...good luck and take care Max
Well better now then when all the damage from the last 2 are fixed. Although that could take years. My stepfathers mother lives in Jupiter Fl. Which is right nextdoor to West Palm Beach. Her whole roof came off. Scary. Good luck. Hopefully it's not to bad.
