Screenshot Utility

Does anyone know if there's a screenshot utility out there able to capture video? Print screen, and a few utilities ive tried don't seem to do it. Any help is greatly appreciated :D

if you turn off hardware acceleration, printscreen might do it

or uhhhm.. I started to holding back erasing it from my system because of this.. Windows Movie Maker (if the video clip is indexed) ... shame on me

yep i use two:
for the simple things i use a "freeware" named hardcopy (actally it isnt free, but hey i didnt pay yet)
for the real pro screenshots a use in my manuals for my students i downloaded a pro capture program (really good and fully customizable) named "SnagIt 7". With this you can also capture scroldown menus and even movies etc...
Fraps i used a long time ago, but only for caturing gameplay.

Cool! IrfanView did the trick, I'd been having trouble getting video screenshots for ages too.

too bad irfanview doesn't seem to support xvid movies even when you have the codec installed
