How people get their icons on the desktop to display as if they were in a folder with list view? Is there anyway I can do this in Win2k? Another quick q: Is there any way of making a custom view? ... Like a detail view with normal sized icons or something? Thanks!

sorry to revive this but ... D-ColorXP - nothing happens when I click "small icons" or "tile"... Im not runing XP, Im running 2k... is that why? And where can I get tclock2?... everythings in Jap or something
You can do it with Tclock2, i just dont think you know how to use it yet. Run tclock2, right click on your clock in the tasbar, and find tclock2 properties. Then find the desktop tab in the menu and look for that option.
use that proggie in no skin mode and once you load a wallpaper you'll see "small icon" option. could not test on win2k but that's old stuff so it should work.
