Hey guys, I gots a question. My room mate is completely computer illiterate. Yet for some reason he has the only computer that I know of in the dorms that can log on to Kazaa. I have tried all sorts of stuff to log onto like mIRC and Limewire and other P2P programs and have had no luck along with pretty much everyone else on campus. Any ideas as to what I can do to get it working like my room mates is? BTW, his computer is just a basic HP running on windows XP.
thats funny, but no really, I can't figure for the life of me why he can get on. I'm assuming theres a school firewall he able to get around that others arent able to.
perhaps he has an direct line which bypasses the firewall, or is connected via wireless-a.n. to an external network, if he is infact a 'leet user he's definitely running over a secure bnc or proxy connection (i mean who isn't today, really i come from the british columbia you know). you'll find most unis are really cracking down on security, so just remember most are watching you and you will eventually get caught and your network access revoked.
Hi I'm new to all this. I've downloaded songs via Limewire to my iPod and they appear as a list. I can't get them to transfer to my iTunes library and presumably I would then be able to get thme into my iPod. Can anyone out there help?
