I never really paid any attention to this, but I've noticed alot of people signing up for a customize.org account, and posting an image, often having nothing to do with the category the file is posted in. (WMP?) Is there some kind of harmful effect to this "method" of submitting files? There's alot of users, who had posted a file of this type the day they sign up for the account here, and that seems to be all the submissions from them from there on.
Sorry to make you read all that.. I'll sum it up. Here's a short version. WTF?
i mean if they have a substantial library of works that are highly regarded or downloaded (i.e. shinter) then we could make an exception. but people who come and put a picture of eminem in the Sonique2 category for no reason, they need to go.

But that doesn't really stop the people finding the site, signing up and submitting something that is, admittedly, crap.
Hmm, that sounded really elitist.
If only they did what I do -- too busy to complete something to submission level, see what great work has already been submitted, think again about their own work, and refrain from submitting.
Not that I want to see creativity stifled, but y'know....

shinter does take a peek everyone in a while so hes not really idle. As far as bad and useless submissions go thats up to the admins, they mod the subs, they can choose which can stay and which can go. Im pretty sure they doing a rather good job.
