i lost my computer icon on my desktop and i was wondering how i restore it?I have windows xp professional sp2.
You mean it's not in the display properties dialog?right click -> diaply properties -> Desktop (tab) -> Customize Desktop...(button below list of available wallppers)Check the Dektop Icons: My Computer checkbox (in the General tab)If it's not here. See if you can use TweakUI XP's Desktop preferenceStill not there, you might just lost one or more of your windows registry entries.. there is numbers of it that referes to you desktop icons./me pass on to the next avaible helper who knows all the registry keys.+| he who will kill the god if given the slightest chance |+www.GIFT333.com
