Voodoo 5 & Windows XP

also, NetBeui and xp, i know where to find it on the cd but for the life of me it wont see the other computers on the network (they're all win98se) and that sux b/c one of those is the print server.

i would appreicate any help anyone could offer.

although it seems like the easy way out i recomend the networking wizard, worked great for me. for the win98 comps either use the xp cd or have the wizard create a floppy for you... about the voodoo 5 can't help you but i know that my friend also has that board and had troubles with it as well.

For the VooDoo 5 AGP its easy. Goto www.voodoofiles.com and download this driver
(WorV5500.exe) you'll have OpenGL glide and D3D

Now for the little netbeui problem i had to get more creative. Install the IPX compatibility protocol on your XP machine. On and Win9x/Me boxes install the IPX/SPX Combatiable protocol then under the properties for it check "Enable NetBios over IPX". Reboot your Win9x/Me boxes and BOOM! Got it works yippiee... for i'm a jolly good fellow.
