Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how to make uniform diagonal lines and repeat them, like whistl3r does in the background in the link below...

you could set up a patern for it,
create diagonal in like a 10x10 doc then
edit > define patern

there might be an easier way to do it but thats how i did it in the past

That is probably one of the easiest method, just need to append this:

After making the pattern, create a new layer, then
edit++
Fill pattern

and tada you have many diagonal lines.

yeah, make a few horizontal bars, rotate it 45 degrees, then use Define Pattern.

Oh and if you need a quick and small one, the later versions of Photoshop comes with a diagonal lines shape built in. (It's under the shapes tool.. press U)

Diagonal lines are to 2004 as when grids and 45 degree arrows were to 2000. :b

depending on the amount of space you want between your lines, you should choose form like 5 px pattern to larger ones.. rotating horizontal or vertical lines by 45 degrees might make them antialiased, and thats not really what we are looking for..

enfusion - you mean 2004&2005? :P
