first time i've done this, welcome to "my" world ... walking into my room and bang, as per usual there's shit everywhere. very poor setup in "my" room, but hey it's "mine" and i'm proud of it (who has taken a shot of their parents setup just for comparison ... am i talking in third person again, uw shit, not again ).
heylove, so what you're screen is HOLY MOTHER FUCKING HUGE and your setup resembles that of an ORGANISED HACKERS RING or a SPOILT MAFIA PRINCESS ... where did you say you were from?
If you're on about the 'streams' of light from the lamp posts, then you should know they aren't filters of any kind done in photoshop, it's straight from the camera. Photographers will know how it's done :P
Props mojo. I am ashamed to host pictures of my station, but never the less, I will post them at www.distortionfile.com/pictures.php . It will take me a few minutes to get them up there, but I'll get right on it!
me too SirWonkus, dorm room desks suck. The desks are fixed in the corner up against both walls with no holes for cords. All my cords are hanging off one side of the desk.
Just so you know Max, I was talking about a patent for the design of an integrally lighted CD case, not "Putting a light behind a CD case." In the way that you would patent [The] Sandwhich, and not the way [you] make one. Just wanted to clear that up. "In the future, you will know me only as, 'Master'."
Better late then never. I lug my laptop back and forth between school and home now. My pc isnt even hooked up at the moment. Maybe this summer when Im home more often I will hook up the pc as well, but for now this is what Im working with:
i still say drill a hole. hey, if it's small enough and noone notices hey thats okay. and maybe it would be taken as an improvment for the next person whos gonna use it.
They do room inspections when you move out. They would find the hole and charge me for it. Not to mention it would look somewhat odd walking into the dorm building with a power drill.
