Hey I'm new to miranda and I'm wondering why my font changes whenever I send...Like when I'm typing the message it's "nu" but when I send it it appears as the default font in the window

In Miranda 0.4 RC2 (this may be the same for 3.3.1 or 3.4, but i'm not sure), go to options, click on messaging log under events, and they can be changed in the fonts section.

You have to set a different font for the typing area and the message area!

i'm having the same problem too, and when i apply another font, like Arial or Verdana, both, the typing area and message area's font changes.

I'm using eremites mod of the srmm plugin, btw. i checked and i don't think it has anything to do with the font types (truetype, whatever the A icon in the font window is, whatever the O icon in hte font window is, etc.). could this be a bug? if so, anyone know if eremite still supports the mod?

thanks.

nu is a .fon file. the window for miranda doesnt support the nu font but the area where u type does. try a font from here:
http://www.dsg4.com/04/extra/bitmap/index.html
they are quite similar to the nu font but are a little tricky to get it to work (cos they are bitmap fonts not vectors)

hope that helped
