lol anything...photoshop, 3d studio max, maya, flash mx, theres so many you can use.

abstract is easy. You can use any graphical program to make an abstract. but if you want it abstract and to look good... thats another story

Photoshop, and maybe a 3D program, and lots of skill and will to experiment :)
