Okay, I notice that when someone submits a truly bad wall these days, NO ONE comments on it, it's just completely ignored by you guys until a staff member bombs it.
While ignoring it is better than the flaming we used to have, it would be great if you guys would maybe drop a constructive review on these people.
Most walls that get deleted tend to hang in the queue for hours or days. This is a window of oppurtunity for the community to help nuture noobs into the great artists they might eventually become.
It all adds up to more awesome shit for you to download.
Thanks a lot.

i do post a comment usually, doesnt matters if it is an awesome or awful submission; i just don't drop a comment when i don't feel nothing about for that work... anyways, im 100% agree with you.
I've come to know which walls will likely get dropped so I don't usually comment on them (feels like the breath's a little wasted).
I remember someone saying, probably a staff member, that users could/should use the forum for putting up walls they're not sure about. Is this the preference?
i feel the same colossus. ive been a long time visitor and "user" of this site but ive just now JOINED and im nearing the completion of my first wall. i dont want it to be an embarassment but if it IS commented on at all i want it to be help so that i can fix it and resubmit for approval.
BUT, then again this site isnt a deviantart.com and i would feel bad having to put everyone through redo after redo after redo and my little name and title for my wall being shown on the main site EVERYDAY.
i am a noob but im not a complete moron. i know when to quit and when to keep the crap out of the eyes of the "big boys".
I did it. Using the forum is invaluable - not many people want to help, but when there are thousands of people that visit SOMEBODY is bound to help. Colossus, for one, was always very helpful to me.
The only way this doesn't work is if nobody comments on it. That kind of forces people to take matters into their own hands.
What would be particularly helpful is if the site ever gets a redesign - it's been rumored for years - a better message board system would have a forum devoted entirely to WIPs.
