If you try to change the firefox toolbar it won't work with yz toolbar. It changes explorer's toolbar. Otherwise I don't know. Is it running and you don't see the changes or you can't run it or find the installed files ?
task manager says yz toolbar is running. And it shows in the systray. Rightclicking there gives me the opportunity to change the style of the explorer (or so it says). Nothing happens. And right clicking the explorer and choicing customize amounts to nothing but adding or removing icons/buttons.........
and yes i'm aware its not ff you can change. The txt said explorer and internet explorer i think.........
could you maybe tell me how you do it akunin.....or anyone else? ____________________________________________________________ _______

Actually, the option you need to choose is Y'z Toolbar, not Customize (Y'z Toolbar should be the last item in the list). Did you reshack any of the context menus for IE? That may cause a problem. Or it may just be your OS (if x64 = 64-bit Windows) that's causing a problem.
yes x64 = 64-bit Windows. And most likely thats the problem. But i cant find anyone struggling with the same problem. And what do you mean by reshack. I'm not trying to change anything in internet explorer (havent used it in two years aprox. lol) so i cant see a connection there. Anyon else? ____________________________________________________________ _______

Toss a shortcut to the Y'z Toolbar executable into your Startup folder, right click the new shortcut and hit properties, then go to the compatibility tab and see if playing with some settings in there yields an instance of the program that functions as expected. There really shouldn't be much reason why it won't run in a native 64-bit environment, but then this is windows, and you may need to force 32-bit mode for that app, instead of letting windows try and figure that out for itself...
Hmm, thx, but the shortcut was allready there. I checked the compatibility tab and set it to xp (some programs need to be set to 98 for some odd reason). I cant restart the machin right now. I guess there aint much happening untill then. But thx a lot for the tip. Really hope this works........i let you now tonight...
