Photoshop Question: applying a gradient to a vector path

93
Enceladus says:

Im doing some work with vectors and i am trying to figure out how to apply a gradient to a vector path. I used to make a selection of the area that i want to use the gradient on, and apply the gradient from there, but i realised anti-alising doesnt work very well. Anyone have any thoughts on this subject?

Or you can hold control and click the layer in layers window. Then go up to layer>new fill layer>gradient
