Some people actually like full-color icons!

Just thought I'd point that out... People feel the need to "correct" people's screenshots by pointing out that they need to make the icons "match" the theme. Bah, I say! BAH!

If you get low scores for your icons or people don't like them, just photoshop 'em and resubmit, it is highly encouraged here. I myself like colorful icons as well. It makes life easy. What I don't like are popupads to call a phone number and win a trip to Disneyland because I am visitor #1,000,000,000 to a website that has nothing to do with travel, or Mickey Mouse. When you click close on them the whole freakin window closes.

Unless you would prefer to pay for a monthly membership, learn to deal with the ads or get firefox.

If you mean photoshop them and actually change the icons, then ok. But if you mean photoshop them and just change the way they look in the screenshot, then that is not allowed and the screenshot will be removed.

REIKO987, you see, there's a reason why screenshots are rated, it's beacause there was hardwork involved into it and because the owner knew how to mod and gather things so that they go well together (that includes the icons). I obviously take it in consideration while rating a screen.

As for the popups, just use firefox, I've never seen one again since that day I use it.
