because a folder tree on the side sucks..

I actually find the common tasks view better, but if you want the look and some of the functionality of thr Mac Finder, then this seems to be a good choice.

Alot of people feel that Apple messed up the Finder. I tend to agree. Just my view, though.

i think that it is much better to try a finder clone for windows that messing with the whole explorer

i have one problem with it....it resets your settings back to default with new open windows.

Id like it to save my settings with every new window.

Try looking for TreeHugger. It's a skinnable replacement for the side explorer tree view.
