Just installed Serenade beta version 5, and I like it a lot. However, I'm stuck as to how to make it the default shell, as when I'm running, for example, a web browser, the crappy XP start bar thingy is shown.. =(.
Thanks for the reply. I looked on there originally before I posted, uninstalled then re-installed Serenade, checked what I presumed was the 'Set as default shell' option (it wasn't actually listed, rather, it was listed as 'Windows NT4/2000/XP Set User Shell'.
The problem still remains. Tried to access the help files, with no success. Think I need some special reader or something...
Thanks for helping a newbie out! As it happens, I believe it might actually be the theme that is causing this... Was using the Invader Zim theme, but have now switched to the default Serenade theme, and it seems to have sorted it. But I will install the SetShell program just in case!
