that is the most demeaning and absurd comment you could possibly say as an admin. at my site, we're stuck up the user's ass and do whatever they want...

theres nothing i hate more than a forceful program that does stuff behind your back. i especially hate programs that add their icons to every place they can without asking you first, and what i hate even more are progs like kazaa that "secretly" install adware. when you use a proggy like ad-aware to find the adware installed by kazaa, then delete said adware, kazaa wont work the next time you open it.. says something like "you have deleted certain components that are required for kazaa to work. kazaa will now close so that you can reinstall it" also, if you try using the older adware-free version of kazaa, youll get as far as connecting to a server, but then itll say "you are using an old version of kazaa. you MUST dl the new version for security reasons". yeah, right.
Real Player has the right idea with making small files for low bandwidth connections, but bleh. It is definitely not something that I like because it's always there and if you have high bandwidth, why wouldn't you just go and get a better quality file? Tell me what you think:
the number one most annoying software "thing" has to be BONZI BUDDY i accidently installed it when i got audiogalaxy and i wanted to fucking rip his little purple head off. It's worse than my "demonspawn" version of real.... I think they should merge and become the most annoying fucking software EVER create.

eee, we had bonzi installed on most of the computers in our A+ class lab last sememster... one of my friends had the bright idea of making the name he adresses you by something like "dumb fucking shiteater ho"
now for those of you not familiar with bonzi, its this talking monkey that pops up and claims to help you surf the internet and other random stuff. in order for him to seem friendly instead of the ad-machine that he actually is, the developers decided to make him talk (i will admit that the speech synthesis is pretty good, and mimics inflection and some types of moods) well anyway, when you tell him your name, he pops up and says "hello, (name)!"
so one day while my teacher was going to show me something in the registry, she happened to log onto a computer with bonzi.
all of a sudden this purple monkey swings onto the screen from a vine and says, with the vloume on the monitor quite loud, "hello dumb fucking shiteater ho!" my teacher, a middle aged mother, almost had a heart attack.
LUCKILY she never found out who programmed the names, heh
