Taskbar icons on desktop.

Hi guys, I'm new here, so I wan't really sure where this went.
I've just started messing around with rainmeter and rocketdock etc. and was wondering if there was anyway to make it so that the windows I have open show up as icons on the desktop and not on the taskbar. I'm not really sure the best way to describe what I want, but thats the best I can do. :/
