your popup needs to be reworked so it doesn't have those breaks in between them (PopupNoSeparator) and you are using some antiquated modules too (chronos? wharf? come on). take this back to the drawing board and clean up the theme so it's tight and looks like you spent more than a few hours on it.

Mojo wasn't being hard on you, he was just giving you some suggestions for how to make the theme better. As for your comments about the wharf (that it gives you time, vwm, task, etc.), this is true, but all of that and more can be done better using LsBox and other, newer, more feature-packed modules. So my suggestion if you decide to keep working with this theme is to take a good long look at the modules most of the popular themes are using and see what you can do with those. (BTW, you do get major bonus points for it being OTS1 compliant, but you should indicate that in the designer notes.)

Dude, this is way better than my very first theme. It was so bad that I deleted it. Hang out on the LSML and find out what the best modules are to use for your wants. I can tell you that is the best place to learn stuff.
Oh, also, I think you would like OTS2. It makes so much more sense than OTS!. Stick with it man.*edit* Why would anyone want OTS2 to fail? It benfits everyone. It saves bandwidth for the theme sites. It gurantess that the theme will work and it allows you update the core with the click of a mouse. The creator of OTS1 made OTS2 because of its shortcomings. I still like the fact that people use Litestep, even if they like OTS1, but don't wish the new standard ill. Go to the website or Litestep Mailing list and learn what makes OTS2 so great.

ots2 makes no more or less sense than ots1, it's just different.

you've obviously got some ideas. i like how you've made all the modules in the wharf fit together as one unit, even if they *are* a drab colour and un-skinned. popup is a completely different style though, but again some nice ideas with the different orange shades adding depth to the image. keep at it (:

hey thanx guys for the support. i'm just a bit behind at the moment and sure will update to ots2.
i'm currently doing some digital art so litestep is on suspense for a while. besides i've recently upgraded from 98se to xp pro and litestep has crashed my p4 2.6 256 a couple of times so i'm still trying to get it work properly.
