StrokeIt allows you to use right or left mouse button gestures throughout Windows.
It's free for non-commercial use and it's really tight. You can customize actions, gestures, disable it for certain programs etc. I highly recommend its use.
Once you get used to gestures you can lower the gesture delay time to 60-75ms or so and tweak a bunch of settings out. Also recommended is the minimize to tray gesture plugin.

Interesting little program, kinda weird too but from what I read on what it does I suppose it could be useful at times. Good work.

this program really DOES sound interesting...its kinda like mouse gestures in Opera's web browser(those who use opera may know what i be talking about)...mouse gestures are really really useful...what a clever idea!!!

this rocks my world. it is in fact the best thing ever. Never again will i have to bother locating such troublesome buttons as "back" or "close" or even "minimize" Huzah!

I have a configuration set up with special cases for Dreamweaver, Ultraedit, Ghost Recon, Opera 7, and a bunch of other programs.
The biggest thing is that by default the L stroke, unlike in Opera's native gesturing, issues Alt-F4 - so for programs where you want to close subwindows, you need to issue Ctrl-W or something. This config file does that for many common programs.
