Thoughts on XBox 360?

I'll wait until the PS3 comes out before I decide.

if i had to choose betwixt the two, i'd get a ps3 but since i have no money and i have other priorities, i'll probably abstain from both.

i was an admin on this site and all i got was this lousy reputation.

i'll see if someone can get one that "fell off a truck" for a good discount because paying full price is bs.

take a look at your operating system... is it microsoft? if it is and you call microsoft the devil... switch to mac or linux...

common, is there even a point of argueing which system is better this time. One has better graphics PS3 but xbox is just as tough. Unlike ps3, you can actually say xbox live, when it comes ps3 online you say "what?, where"

You can't really compare graphics, especially at this point in time. Only thing you can compare is specs (and internal benchmarks by the companies themselves), and specs ain't always the best thing to compare especially when it comes down to consoles. I just say, keep any eye on them all.

I'll wait until my PS2 breaks down. Then I'll get a PS3. I think MS should stick to OSs and leave gaming consoles to Sony. Nintendo died when the PS1 came out. Sega never really took off.

by the way , microsoft suck to find a great name for their next console "xbox 360" .....eurk, and the look of the xbox 360, it seem like a plastic toy for children... but the look of the PS3 , wow men nice job, look futuristic and modern ...... but for the specs and the game of the two console each of those have their "positve point" !? the graphics of these two console will be fucking awesome

I think both systems look pretty cool, but I dont see anywhere to plug in controllers, except for one spot on the xbox. Are they gonna be all wireless controllers?

Controllers are gonna be used Bluetooth connectivity. It's kinda obvious really.

Lol I actually signed up to post a comment in this poll becuase im amazed at how wrong people are. The ps3 isnt more powerful sony are just good at twisting numbers. It has twice the floating point performance. This doesnt mean shit in games. The 360 is actually much more powerful. Sonys trailers at e3 wer pre-renders to make ppl believe the ps3 is more powerful. And they seem to have done that.

Yes he works for microsoft but he has given us real figures and gave the ps3 credit where credit is due.

O! And since i live in shanghai, I'll buy a used ps3 for like.. 100 US and then buy thousands of bootleg games... then I will sell it all on ebay... minus the games...

People here aren't 'wrong', they're just misinformed..like most of us. E3 is about showing what is around the corner, not what is here right now. Companies use E3 as a way of getting hype and boy do they just make hype. As I've said in previous posts, We just gotta wait and see what's to come.

Quit being a fanboy.

Not that this will get a look since the poll is gone but the link some1 posted where playable games running on the xbox 360 alpha devkit which is 30% of the final console. So 1/3 of the power of the final console. So it will look alot better on the final hardware.
