Do you require optics to see correctly?

I recently lost my 20/20 vision and had to get some glasses. I don't think I will venture forth into the world of contacts because of my own personal beliefs about them. The glasses thing is not so bad though since it looks cool and I can see ok again. :)

Glasses kick the beans out of contacts anyway. The only thing I wish is that i could wear my kickass sunglasses with them.

Good sunglasses=no prescription, similarly
prescription=bad sunglasses

I wear glasses but I'm probably going to get contacts too. I love my glasses but they don't always go with what I'm wearing.

glasses from the age of 6 to the age of 12 (though i didn't always have to wear them, mostly just at school). and now special glasses if i'm on the computer 'cause my eye doctor is an idiot.

gruneeitelkeit - true about prescription sunglasses...but you can get a decent pair with a prescription if you've no choice...

Because glasses piss me off.

i dont wear contacts or glasses, but i use to wear glasses when i was in elementry school. im more than likely going to have to wear glasses later on in life*cough*dang monitor*cough*

Glasses since age 12. Stronger perscription after my tour in Desert Storm in '91 , because of the damn glare of the sun over in Iraq.

Tried contacts way back but they irritated my eyes pretty bad. I might give them a try again soon.

got glasses as long as I can recall. man, i think i was actually born with glasses!... no, just kidding :P but i wear glasses since my very early childhood.

no glasses, but I'm starting to have a bit of difficulty seeing clearly (writing and such, for the most part) at long distances.
