Offbrand controllers/other things for consoles?

cant vote. i use logitech everything pretty much.. G7 mouse, G15 keyboard and then I have a MS xbox 360 controller.

Anyways I got a Logitech wireless 2.4 GHz contorller for my Xbox.

5 months ago I bought a Logitech Dual Action gamepad... 3 months later it was useless. I asked for support but Logitech found no solution... I googled for the product and found out that many people have the same problem.

I tend to dislike 3rd-party controllers for consoles, especially if I have been using the original controller for a while. The grips tend to feel bulky and weird. I did do some modifications on an N64 controller once, which mainly involved splicing several controller cords together into a 20-foot monster cord. I could play from down the hall (although seeing the TV was a problem). Of course, this was back in the days of wired controllers. And N64s. That was when everyone was like "OMGWTF I CAN'T WAIT FOR DR34MC4ST!!!!!!!111", although it was probably before l33tspeak too. Ahh, memories...

I don't really play on consoles. I probably will when the PS3 comes out. For now, it's just the computer and I am very pleased with my non-Logitech mouse (Razer Copperhead). Mmmmmmm..

Chose yes, but only because there arn't any good firstparty arcade sticks around.

Almost everything i own for my COMPUTER i use logitech... mouse, keyboard, speakers. Logitech is the shit!

Every console in HISTORY has been a computer with a custom operating system and mainboard. The Xbox is no more or less a computer than the Dreamcast or the 2600.

And if I'm not mistaken (and I'm not), PC gaming loses it's market share every year, while console gaming has gained a few million users every year. PC gaming is increasingly becoming an enthusiast hobby which requires a substantial amount of money to pursue. Console gaming isn't going anywhere, but in about five years, you can expect to see most PC developers moving to consoles. Gooooo economics! :D
