Well done. Once my mother got E.Coli from eating a rare steak from Golden Corral (yuck), but ever since then I've always had it so that there is absolutely no blood in it.

Odd.

"Walk it through a warm room" is usually how I tell a restaurant to prepare my steak. They tend to get gun shy and cook the damn thing anyway.

You can get E.Coli from even burnt meat. It all depends on what it touches from when it comes from the source of heat to your mouth. :D

I just got done eating a steak that was spurting blood. Gotta love birthday dinner. :)

Medium. Though it seems most places around here take 'medium' to mean 'medium rare'. Still tastes outstanding though. :)

I used to just say rare until someone served me up one that had just looked at a pan... It was so good that now I ask for really rare.

(and angel's right on the E.Coli thing, you can't cook E.Coli out so it makes no odds)
